On the 22nd of May I shot some photos of a presumed juvenile Montagu's harrier, a 2-nd calendar year but ... when I was at home a lot of doubts assailed me. I tried to identify it by using my bible (i.e., "The Raptors of Europe and the Middle East") but I still note some features of Montagu's and others of a Pallid harrier. Please, may you help me in the right identification? May I send 2-3 pictures of this (for me) tricky raptor? Thank you very much in advance for your support! I realise that Shikra is most likely candidate but I have watched Sketched & photo'd a number of Shikra in both Africa & India & this is subtly different.
